WAYS TO HELP
Delivery Days
This is a commitment of approximately three hours on the second Saturday of each month (or as you are able). We meet at the day’s central location, which may vary each month based on need. Each person will be assigned to a team with an experienced team lead. Once we have our delivery assignments, we will move all the components (headboard, footboard, rails, slats, mattresses, and linens) to specific addresses where we will assemble the beds in children’s rooms. You can view our bed assembly process.
Transport
Our beds are built in Homerville, Ohio. The bed pieces are transported to our storage in Berea, Ohio once per month where we could use your help unloading the trailer. We can also use your help from 7:30-8:30am on the second Saturday of each month when all the components (beds, mattresses, linens, books, and stuffed animals) are transported from Berea to that month’s delivery location in Cleveland.
Linen Inventory
We need twin size sheets, blankets, pillows. If you are able to set up a campaign to secure these items, we would be extremely grateful. We ask that the items be new so that the children feel especially loved. Once donated, these items need to be sorted by age and gender. This is a great opportunity for friends and family to get involved.
